HBBC Security Vehicle Letter

Dear Pastor,

For over 25 years, God has provided Heartland Baptist Bible College with a safe campus, and we regularly thank God for His protection! Bro. Jamie Jett, the previous Security Director, often referenced Proverbs 21:31 as he led the Security Department: “The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD.” In other words, we trust the Lord for safety, but we also have a responsibility to evaluate potential threats to the campus, to prepare to protect the students whom God sends our way, and to safeguard the physical property God has given us to steward.

As the current Security Director, Bro. Copes asked me to reach out to supporting churches about a need we currently have. Recently, the vehicle the Security Department used to patrol our campus (donated by Bro. Carl Boonstra years ago) had to be put out of service due to mechanical issues. 

Ideally, we would like to get a replacement truck or SUV, but the resources are not currently available to get a reliable vehicle for this purpose. If you know of someone who may be willing to donate such a vehicle to the college for use in the Security Department, please contact me personally. My cell number is (419) 651-9202.
